Ah, you are back. I hope your adventures have given you a sense of the scale and wonder of our world. I know it must seem overwhelming to you, but if you are to help your people, you must be prepared for whatever may come your way while you are on Azeroth. While you wait for your order to establish itself in Dalaran, I suggest you turn your attention to the lands around Stormwind. Westfall in particular can always use more strong adventurers to lend them aid, if you are willing.

adventurer, I've come to find out how rampant the effects of Fel Moss are throughout Darkshore. The corruption of Teldrassil and our surrounding lands really concerns the druids of the Cenarian Circle, and all Night elves. It is my goal to find out why this has happened and to put an end to it.

The epic battles of the Second War ranged from large-scale naval skirmishes to massive aerial dogfights. Somehow the Horde had unearthed a powerful artifact known as the Demon Soul and used it to enslave the ancient Dragonqueen, Alexstrasza. Threatening to destroy her precious eggs, the Horde forced Alexstrasza to send her grown children to war. The noble red dragons were forced to fight for the Horde, and fight they did.

The bewildered Doomhammer, having lost nearly half of his standing forces to Gul'dan's treachery, was forced to pull back and forsake his greatest chance at victory over the Alliance.

I see. This seems dangerous in the extreme, but the situation seems to demand that risks be taken. Very well, the High Order will provide aid. Please inform Valennia that she can count on us for this fight.

Our kind are rare these days, but there are those who still dream in emerald amongst the Shen'dorei.

So ye see now, mage? Thick as cockroaches they are, and that's just the ones we can see from the sky. Ye look like a sturdy enough sort. How's about a bit o' violence?

Greetings, druid. I am Tyrande Whisperwind, High Priestess of Elune.

What do ye need, citizen?

Thom appears to absentmindedly rub his hands together as he looks at you.

Aided by his lieutenants, Uther the Lightbringer, Admiral Daelin Proudmoore, and Turalyon, Lothar was able to convince Lordaeron's demi-human races of the impending threat as well. The Alliance succeeded in gaining the support of the stoic dwarves of Ironforge and a small number of high elves of Quel'Thalas.

What do you need directions to?

The Council of Silvermoon, which ruled over the elves of Quel'Thalas, entered into a secret pact with the Magocrat lords of Dalaran. The elves told the Magocrats about the history of ancient Kalimdor and of the Burning Legion, a history which still threatened the world. They informed the humans that so long as they used magic, they would need to protect their citizenry from the malicious agents of the Legion.

You'll need to prove your worthiness before I go giving away my secrets! I've got just the test for you...

You touch the small white crystal and you can hear faint sounds on the wind. This is an audio recording of some sort. "The Sky-Touched Mystery"

Gales greetings, friend. Is there something I can help you with?

"The skyseer elders among the Windshapers, by contrast, place implicit trust in the wind spirits and regard any questioning of their designs as an affront to our benefactors. They hold that our patrons in Skywall have already sacrificed much to bring us here and sustain us. They assert that if any further knowledge was vital to our survival, they would surely reveal it in due course. This difference in belief has given rise to no small measure of tension between the two orders. Whatever the truth may be, it is plain that we are not alone in this realm, and that many mysteries yet remain beyond our present understanding."

The society held its secret meetings in the shadowed Tirisfal Glades, where the high elves had first settled in Lordaeron. Thus, they named the secret sect the Guardians of Tirisfal. The mortal champions who were chosen to be Guardians were imbued with incredible powers of both elven and human magic. Though there would only ever be one Guardian at a time, they held such vast power that they could single-handedly fight back the Legion's agents wherever they were found in the world.

<Lotheluum wears a look of genuine terror as you recount the events from the druid den.> I--I'm sorry, adventurer. I need just a moment. There are no words I possess that can describe the loss. This is grave news indeed. If this missive is not fabricated, then we indeed have at best an accomplice and at worst a traitor here in Valanaar. I will take this to the High Elder immediately! I will not let my fellows sacrifice be in vain.

Interesting, interesting... I know of a druid that lives atop the hill above the Wailing Caverns, adventurer. She might be able to tell you more about this shard you have found. Now, I must get back to work!

Where would you like to fly to?

Just browsing my wares or is there something specific I can help you find today?

H-Hello. You'll have to excuse me, I'm used to your kind running from me.

The Windshapers are almost wholly to blame for everything that has happened. Their refusal to change has damaged our ability to save ourselves from our current peril. They speak in absolutes and treat assumptions and superstitious hope as fact. Do you know who else deals only absolutes? The Al'Aketh. I for one do not intend to let blind adherence to dangerous beliefs doom our people. If it weren't for the threat of the cult, I'd march our mages over to the other side of Valnaar and wipe the Windshapers out.

For the first time in nearly three thousand years, the disparate nations of Arathor were once again united under a common banner. Appointed as Supreme Commander of the Alliance forces, Lord Lothar prepared his armies for the coming of the Horde.

Ah, so you have. You are most welcome in Ironforge, mage. This city is the seat of the Bronzebeard Clan. We are an ancient and proud people and our craftsmen are second to none. You'll find no finer creations of metal or stonework than dwarven-make. We are also amongst boldest of explorers on Azeroth. If you have a taste for adventure, you will be in good company amongst our people. Thank you for speaking with me, adventurer. Go now with the blessings of the Bronzebeard Clan. I wish you and your people well.

"Much of the flora and fauna of the Skyborne Isles has been shaped by the elemental forces that reign here in the realm of Skywall. Many creatures once bound to the earth now bear avian traits such as beaks, talons, and feathers. Others have gained the power of flight, though such transformations remain less common than other outward changes. Among the shen'dorei, the elemental plane's influence upon the body has been gradual and subtle. Yet in recent generations its effects have grown increasingly dramatic. Consider, for instance, the phenomenon now commonly called the "Sky-Touched Blessing."

I might be the only living shen'dorei left amongst our people who had more than a handful of words with him. I served him as the captain of his Empyrean Blades for nearly nine centuries, right up until... he left us. Even still, I can't rightly claim that I "knew" him. He was ever a reserved and solitary man. He spent most of his time alone or in communion with the spirits in the spires high above the Shrine of the Four Winds... the place that the cult now calls the 'Shrine of Akir'.

Ah, you have returned. I do hope you have brought the relics with you?

The Windfield Orchard has seen better days...

Most of these demonic encounters were isolated events, and the ruling Magocrats did what they could to keep such events hidden from the public. The most powerful magicians were sent to capture the elusive demons, but they often found themselves hopelessly outmatched by the lone agents of the mighty Legion.

Greetings, mage - what may the Sentinels assist you with today? Perhaps you are here to inquire about the bounty on Jai'vhanel?

Director Riddlevox put me in charge of the Union's shredder development program. Few months on the job and I'm already in hot water! I could use your help, adventurer!

It is good to know that issue has been taken care of, but it saddens me that we could not find another way. Jai'vhanel had been somewhat of a guardian of this area for quite some time, and I am not sure what could have caused her descent into madness. Regardless, thank you for your service today, mage. The roads to Auberdine are safe for travel once again.

Great timing! Caught a big one with my last bait. Great day so far. They're really biting out here! Tell you what, since you were kind enough to keep this old man in business how about a few fish for the road?

Welcome to SI:7 headquarters, adventurer.

Greetings, traveler.

The second Arathorian city-state of Dalaran was founded in the lands north of Strom. Many fledgling wizards left the restraining confines of Strom behind and traveled to Dalaran, where they hoped to use their new powers with greater freedom. These magicians used their skills to build up the enchanted spires of Dalaran and reveled in the pursuit of their studies.

The elves, led at that time by Anasterian Sunstrider, were largely uninterested in the coming conflict. However, they were duty-bound to aid Lothar because he was the last descendent of the Arathi bloodline, which had aided the elves in ages past.

Would you like a flight to Rut'theran Village, courtesy of the Cenarion Circle?

That turncoat risked everything to escape the cult and bring us this crystal...

As soon as the fighting stopped, they started moving massive crates of windstones to the top of the tower. The leader, some kind of priest, said something about a ritual. I'm writing this note just in case I don't make it back to Shen'dar to warn Aonda, but they are doing something here. Something bad.

There you have it, you can now craft your very own Lodestone. Most folk don't care much for camps being set up in the center of town, so you'll need to head into the wilderness if you want to test it out. Oh, and just remember, no camp is complete without a campfire. You'll need one of those before you start up your camp. Most cooks can teach you to make a fire. If you haven't already, you might want to check in with someone who can train you in the culinary arts to learn the basics.

It is not yet your time. I shall aid your journey back to the realm of the living... for a price.

The earth trembled as the ancient trees in the enchanted forest were uprooted and toppled. The groves and glades tended by the sons and daughters of Cenarius and the stone towers of the children of the stars were brought to the rolling ground. There was our queen, radiant even in the desperation, in the chaos that was the battles. The enchanted sky changed colors with the discharge of magic, with the explosions that threatened to tear the world asunder. Brother fought brother. Chosen fought

Though the rebellion had been quelled, the Horde was unable to recoup the terrible losses it had suffered. Gul'dan's betrayal had afforded the Alliance not only hope, but also time to regroup and retaliate.

The High Order are currently accepting donations for wool cloth. A donation of sixty pieces of wool cloth will net you full recognition by the High Order for your generous actions. Sixty pieces of wool should prove to be a sufficient amount for the High Order's needs for now. If you have the sixty pieces of wool cloth on you and are ready to donate them, I'm able to take them from you now.

I hope that your interruption is for a good cause, I was in the middle of some important work.

Dendrite makes another invisible gesture in the air above him as you approach. Another aura of power comes over him, and he smiles ever so slightly. I sense the cunning and ferocity of the cat within you that was not present when I sent you to meet the Great Cat Spirit. In your eyes I can sense you now understand the stealth and speed needed to adopt this nature. Now you may learn to focus your cunning and adopt the true nature of the cat and call upon its spirit.

Yet, as the seemingly endless ages passed, the night elves' civilization expanded both territorially and culturally. Their temples, roads, and dwelling places stretched across the breadth of the dark continent. Azshara, the night elves' beautiful and gifted Queen, built an immense, wondrous palace on the Well's shore that housed her favored servitors within its bejeweled halls.
