Greetings lad, if you're looking for the best deals you'll find outside of Ironforge itself, then you've come to the right place.

Friend - Stormwind needs your assistance and your generosity! Our once large stockpile of textiles has run critically low. Stormwind is now engaged in a multi-pronged effort to rebuild those stocks for the manufacture of textiles and bandages! Your donation of cloth would help Stormwind immensely, as well as earn the respect of the citizenry!

As the empire grew and expanded into new lands, the young magicians also spread out into the southlands. Wielding their mystical powers, the magicians protected their brethren from the wild creatures of the land and made it possible for new city-states to be constructed in the wilderness. Yet, as their powers grew, the magicians became ever more conceited and isolated from the rest of society.

By Elune, this water is disgusting! No wonder the deer are sick. Something is polluting the water, and in turn corrupting Darkshore's entire water table. Sick deer have been seen all over area, and not just by the river. While this water is most likely a primary source of the sickness spreading, there's something else at work here. This water, believe it or not, will help us formulate a cure. While I research this water, I have need of some items to formulate a cure...

Mmm, I think you are going to like what I can cook up with these acorns!

The second Arathorian city-state of Dalaran was founded in the lands north of Strom. Many fledgling wizards left the restraining confines of Strom behind and traveled to Dalaran, where they hoped to use their new powers with greater freedom. These magicians used their skills to build up the enchanted spires of Dalaran and reveled in the pursuit of their studies.

The citizens of Dalaran tolerated the magicians' endeavors and built up a bustling economy under the protection of their magic-using defenders. Yet, as more and more magicians practiced their arts, the fabric of reality around Dalaran began to weaken and tear.

Thank you very much for these. As elves we all have a deep connection to magic and these windstones are becoming more and more precious as the magic imbued into this island by the great anchor pylons continues to fade. Windstones aren't the only beneficial thing you can harvest from the land. Please, take one of these manuals.

Eh? I don't have time ta chat, my da' wants me ta finish this order fer him.

I've been begging Stormwind for aid for months and he sends me a skinny elf? Well, beggars can't be choosers I suppose. Welcome to Westfall, hero. Let's see if we can't put you to work.

Well met!

The High Order are currently accepting donations for wool cloth. A donation of sixty pieces of wool cloth will net you full recognition by the High Order for your generous actions. Sixty pieces of wool should prove to be a sufficient amount for the High Order's needs for now. If you have the sixty pieces of wool cloth on you and are ready to donate them, I'm able to take them from you now.

<The corpse lying before you is covered in scorches and burn marks. He seems to be clutching something in his hand.>

This is good, adventurer, so much so that it should be enough to make some ample doses of the salve - at least enough to start to make a difference. Making a cure for poisons can be quite difficult at times because each one often requires a very specific antidote to counteract it. Imagine being able to cure a poison at will without having to worry about the exact ingredients of what the antidote must be! Now, let me get to work on this!

The agony I feel over her loss is immeasurable, but it is what is necessary for the balance. You have demonstrated a resolve to persevere, even when a terrible price is asked. You have done well, druid. I shall grant you the blessing to take on the shape of my kin. Be a beacon for those that lack the strength to persevere and a defender of those in need. Go now, and embrace the way of the claw, child.

You're the one that the Cenarion Circle in Moonglade sent? That's wonderful! We've quite the crisis our hands here regarding the poor deer, and we're happy for all the help we can get. Do you have the sample of water that Dendrite Starblaze said you'd have? He notified me that you'd draw one so we could work on a cure together...

The mighty dragons, who had fled from the ever-advancing march of mortal societies, found themselves too evenly matched against the dark magics of the Legion. Aegwynn confronted the demons, and with help from the noble dragons, eradicated them. Yet, as the last demon was banished from the mortal world, a great storm erupted throughout the north.

The Master's Glaive, adventurer. Go there, then speak with me again.

Monty be me name an' rats be me game.

We are currently accepting donations for wool cloth. A donation of sixty pieces of wool cloth will net you full recognition by Ironforge for your generous actions. Our stores are such on wool that we would only need sixty pieces from you total; we should be able to acquire enough from others in the realm to support our drive. If you have the sixty pieces of wool cloth on you and are ready to donate them, I'm able to take them from you now.

You'll find no finer rat kabob this side of Khaz Modan!

So now that we've learned the basics, why don't you go and learn a tradeskill from the trainers in the village nearby. They will also teach you how to create a camp fixture suitable to your new profession.

The roiling cloud of living lightning before you seems to crackle menacingly as you approach. It might be best to leave. Quickly.

<Valenna looks away briefly before looking hesitantly back in your direction.> The Shal'nan was the very best of us. It was he who stood up for our people against madness and oppression in Eldre'Thalas nearly ten thousand years ago. It was the Shal'nan who led us across the uncharted sea to escape the murderous vengeance of our ancient enemies. It was the Shal'nan who brokered the pact of friendship with the wind spirits that allowed us to ascend to Skywall... and survive. He was ever the servant leader to his people, even after he abdicated his position of power and retired.

<Lotheluum wears a look of genuine terror as you recount the events from the druid den.> I--I'm sorry, adventurer. I need just a moment. There are no words I possess that can describe the loss. This is grave news indeed. If this missive is not fabricated, then we indeed have at best an accomplice and at worst a traitor here in Valanaar. I will take this to the High Elder immediately! I will not let my fellows sacrifice be in vain.

It's always great to see you, adventurer.

It is not yet your time. I shall aid your journey back to the realm of the living... for a price.

These are them! Some of them even smell exotic! Fantastic, I can't wait for us to have lively conversations about these writings. Cellar after hours, of course. Thanks for the quick errand run, adventurer. As promised, it's on the house. We keep our word here.

The Windfield Orchard has seen better days...

Seeking to punish the wayward orcs for their costly betrayal, Doomhammer sent his forces to kill Gul'dan and bring the renegades back into the fold. For his recklessness, Gul'dan was torn apart by the maddened demons he had set loose. With their leader dead, the renegade clans quickly fell before Doomhammer's enraged legions.

Turalyon's forces succeeded in destroying the Dark Portal, the mystical gateway that connected the orcs to their homeworld of Draenor. Cut off from its reinforcements and fractured by infighting, the Horde finally buckled in upon itself and fell before the might of the Alliance.

Rorian has told me much of you. I am likely unknown to you, but I am a member of the Council of Elders here on Zephras Isle. I've come to read the flow of the winds here in Thendal Grove. I'm also here to assess young shen'dorei such as yourself that are coming of age. So tell me, are you ready to take your next step? Are you ready to serve Zephras Isle?

The Council of Silvermoon, which ruled over the elves of Quel'Thalas, entered into a secret pact with the Magocrat lords of Dalaran. The elves told the Magocrats about the history of ancient Kalimdor and of the Burning Legion, a history which still threatened the world. They informed the humans that so long as they used magic, they would need to protect their citizenry from the malicious agents of the Legion.

Where would you like to fly to?

Ah good, it's done then. I can't have the other keepers refusing to enter the hall to do their duties on account of "ghosts" and "angry dead", can I?

These Dark Irons may be our cousins but they ain't family, that's for sure. I shed no tears for any misfortune that befalls them that stray too far from that accursed mountain o' theirs. Hopefully this is enough to put 'em off of further incursions into these lands.

Eh? What do you want?

Greetings, friend. How are ya?

<Constable Aonda wears an intense look on her face, clearly deep in thought.>

A Dark Iron incursion--right beneath our feet? Well, I'm relieved to hear that the Dark Iron commander has been dispatched. The guards will head in and clean up the rest of the rabble. We'll see to it that the breaches are sealed and the lower levels reinforced to ensure that no further incursions are possible. Thank ye for yer service to Ironforge, mage. Take this as a small token of my gratitude. Oh, and if ye see that old Wildhammer rockhugger Farsen again, tell 'em to pay me a proper visit.

The war raged across the continents of Khaz Modan, Lordaeron, and Azeroth itself. As part of its northern campaign, the Horde succeeded in burning down the borderlands of Quel'Thalas, thereby ensuring the elves' final commitment to the Alliance's cause. The greater cities and townships of Lordaeron were razed and devastated by the conflict. Despite the absence of reinforcements and overwhelming odds, Lothar and his allies succeeded in holding their enemies at bay.

The epic battles of the Second War ranged from large-scale naval skirmishes to massive aerial dogfights. Somehow the Horde had unearthed a powerful artifact known as the Demon Soul and used it to enslave the ancient Dragonqueen, Alexstrasza. Threatening to destroy her precious eggs, the Horde forced Alexstrasza to send her grown children to war. The noble red dragons were forced to fight for the Horde, and fight they did.

Thom appears to absentmindedly rub his hands together as he looks at you.

My... Thane... he... rests... yes... rest. Thank... you... I... rest...

This jar is for me? Snow! Grenhild did it! She sent the snow that I asked for! A pity, though, I was hoping she would come and visit in person. Well, regardless, thank you for your effort. This is a real help for my work.

The earth trembled as the ancient trees in the enchanted forest were uprooted and toppled. The groves and glades tended by the sons and daughters of Cenarius and the stone towers of the children of the stars were brought to the rolling ground. There was our queen, radiant even in the desperation, in the chaos that was the battles. The enchanted sky changed colors with the discharge of magic, with the explosions that threatened to tear the world asunder. Brother fought brother. Chosen fought

<Valennia is severely wounded and is barely holding on to consciousness.>

My hair clip! I thought this was lost for good! This'll shine right up with just a little work. Thank you for bringing it to me! I'll make it worth your while.

I have a lot of chores today, so can you keep it quick?

Who would have guessed the excavation would have uncovered such findings!
