The Shattered Hand will see the Horde to their former glory, unhindered by the timidness of the Warchief.

Hey mon, what can I be doin' for you?

I can teach you how to cook!

You can't study my techniques until you've learned the basics. Speak with Kamari if you are interested in training.

Greetings, child. I am Illaya Amberwind and I am the Elder Windshaper here on Zephras Isle. It's always nice to meet young new faces that make their way down from the grove. Don't let this old shaman hold you up, no doubt you've got many adventures to see to. Do feel free to stop by later if you'd like.

Oh, that's okay. I-I'll be here if you want to learn some other time. T-Thank you for talking to me!

May the spirits be with you.

You may not be a paladin, but you may yet find solace in the light should you seek it.

The spirits have guided you to me. How may I be of service?

You go to inner ring of The Apothecarium. Lavinia Crowe is there.

I don't train your kind shaman.

Which profession?

Cooking is a life long pursuit and I see we share the same passion!

What are you looking for?

It is wise that you humble yourself before me adventurer in your desire for more warlock knowledge.

Slay your enemies and swoon your paramours with this one weird trick. If you follow the path of the rogue, I can teach you... for a cost, of course.

I will instruct you when the time is right... that time is not now. You have much more to learn first!

Why is this happening? Put simply, the spirits of the wind just... vanished. They were there one day, and they were gone the next. I can't quite describe the feeling that we windshapers felt when it happened. It was as if a great silence fell over all of us and then... a profound absence. The petty wraiths you've likely encountered out there are just shades of the glory of the true spirits of wind. Non-sentient, aimless, and a far cry from the kindly spirits we lived in harmony alongside for thousands of years.

Many disagree on this point. I believe that simple communication is the key. The songs of the wind rang so clearly to us when the spirits where still here. Since they left, its grown quiet and our power as windshapers has weakened. However, there are those of us who can still hear something. A hushed tone. Fragments of a melody. Those that can still hear and see into the elemental planes must grow in strength. I believe that is the key to our salvation.

Where to begin? Our home is failing. The wards have fallen and the three provinces have begun to drift apart. There was a time not long ago when the spires of Shen'dramar were visible from the western watchtower. No longer. The anchor pylons are weakening, and if the chains finally break...

It is my honor to handle supply and provisioning for the Earthen Ring. My stock is limited at present, but check back with me often and I may have new equipment and supplies available for purchase.

I am an officer of the city, working in the capacity of the Undercity's census. Since our liberation from the Scourge, we have tried to keep an accurate track of our city's populace. Through arcane methods and sharpened mental discipline, I am able to access these records. If you have business with me accordingly, please proceed. You should know if you do, at any rate.

The Cult? They are zealots and killers. They believe that we are being punished for some unspecific sin. The reality is that those that lead them are opportunists leftover from a dubious order of so-called "Priests" of Al'Akir, the Windlord. They now find themselves in a position to weaponize the fear of our people to consolidate their own power... and they have been quick to do so.

The spinning column of wind before you seems to hum with contentment. It clearly cannot speak, but you have a clear sense of the sensations it feels. It seems... happy to provide you with the blessing of the winds.

In all of our years dealing with the wind spirits, at no point did they speak of the Windlord as a figure of reverence. They acknowledged the existence of a being named Al'Akir, but they avoided invoking his name, almost as if they feared him. Even if this Al'Akir is an all-powerful "Windlord" or ruler of the wind elementals, my centuries of communion with the spirits has convinced me that at the very least he is not universally loved amongst the denizens of Skywall. I fear that attempting to treat with Al'Akir could merely hasten our doom.

Shadowgale Forest! It's haunted! Haunted as the sky is blue! Terrible forest spirits, terror birds with talons as big as yer arm! It's... a nightmare! Swimmers turns to Donaal and belches loudly. IT'S NOT CRAZY TALK, DONAAL!

The skyborne before you sways unsteadily, clearly very inebriated. I used to be a sailor you know? Before the trouble started. The skycutters used to run between the islands. Now its unsafe or some such, or so they say. I see the High Order and the Windshapers have their skycutters running again, but I'm stuck here, grounded! What aren't we being told! He turns and yells loudly at the innkeeper. WHAT AREN'T WE BEING TOLD, DONAAL!?

You must remember that while this realm has been our home for millennia, we will always be somewhat alien to this place. We are not in the terrestrial world that birthed our people. We are in the realm of Skywall, a part of the elemental plane. We arrived here as the guests of spirits with whom we found common cause in ages past. Now that we Shen'dorei find ourselves bereft of their presence--and potentially--their protection, there's no telling how the other denizens of this plane may perceive us.

Please do see that he reads it at once. I fear our Scourge problem has only just begun. Come see me again in due time. I believe I have nearly uncovered something I could use a willing blade to help with.

Zephras is in a state of decline, unfortunately. The elemental wind spirits that brought us here to Skywall so many thousands of years ago have vanished, causing us to lose much of the magic on which we've depended for millennia. The island itself is also dangerously unstable, and we've even lost contact with the other island provinces of the shen'dorei. The few Windshapers that still possess the gift of skysight have attempted to contact our brothers and sisters on the other islands, but we have had no response. Many among us are worried that the shen'dorei here on Zephras are all that is left of our people.

This skycutter will take you right to the wondrous open plains of Mulgore.

It's my job to get the Paladins of Bandarion Keep set up with proper arms and armor. It's not much, but it's honest work. I've got a thing or two for sale as well, should you need gear.

Gales greetings, friend. Is there something I can help you with?

Come in, come in. Just don't sit too close to the stove. It hasn't exploded yet today, but just to be safe I think you should sit elsewhere.

The shen'dorei will always owe the spirits a debt for their aid, and the Windshapers have sworn an oath to repay that debt and restore things to the way they were before. Unfortunately, we are dangerously blind to what is happening around us within Skywall without the spirits to guide us. The High Order are shortsighted and arrogant, just like their Highborne ancestors. They seek to master and control the magic of this place. This is very path that led us to flee from Kalimdor and reside here in the first place. I fear that much like our forebears their confidence has vastly outpaced their competence and the end result could be disastrous.

Winds tidings. What can I help you with?

What are you looking for?

Alas, I have prattled on long enough. Seek out my apprentice Ayessa Dawnsinger in the port of Valanaar if you find yourself out that way. She still hears the song--if only faintly. I am old and much of my power has left me. Ayessa represents the future of our people and the path we must now walk to survive. It's up to her and young skyborne such as yourself to carry the hopes for our people forward.

Valennia winces in pain as she shifts to look at you. Don't look at me like that. I'll be fine. Despite the best efforts of the High Elder's fretful healers, I'll be up and ready to fight again in no time. Now be gone with you... don't let this old soldier hold you up. The winds will bring you good fortune on your journey, I know it.

Greetings, hero. I can show you how to weave magic about yourself to change the appearance of your equipment, if you so desire. Do you wish to utilize my services?
