There are many things lurking out there in the dark and the light is needed now more than ever. If only these poor souls could see that just because our world has changed, that doesn't mean we have to be the monsters that the living think we are.

Heh, bombs, us like bombs. Graham Van Talen show you how to make. He in outer ring of Rogues' Quarter.

Graham Van Talen in Rogues' Quarter on outer ring of Undercity.

Which trainer you seek?

Go to inner ring of War Quarter. Brom Killian there.

It wasn't long ago that the citadel of Naxxramas bore down upon this city, intent on wiping the Forsaken off the map. Both the Forsaken and the Argent Dawn lost much that day to secure the future of the Forsaken. During the battle, the great necrotic focusing crystal hanging beneath Naxxramas was shattered and its fragments were scattered all over this area. I suspect that is what the cultists are here for. Help me recover the fragments and deprive the scourge of them.

Greetings.

The scourge are a blight on our lands, and their living servants are the worst of them. The people of Tirisfal have enough to deal with between the mindless dead and the Scarlet Crusade. If you wish to do some good, help me put an end to this scum.

Thank you. This should slow the efforts of the scourge in this area. I suspect the denizens of Tirisfal will be pulling these crystals out of the ground for years, but removing the most conspicuous of them can only help.

Greetings. I'm an undead mage trainer, and you're a mage.

You say there is evil in Shadowvale? I admit, I am not surprised. The forest folk were an odd lot, and they did not care for visitors. Some believe the Whispering Forest itself is cursed, and the elixir distilled from its roots carries that same curse... ...but enough of superstition and rumors, adventurer. Thank you for the elixirs. Here, take this as payment.

I trust you did not get lost?

What an interesting specimen. From underneath the Whispering Forest, you say? It's no secret that foul place is touched by the void. I welcome the opportunity to explore the mysteries of shadow, mage. Allow me to offer you payment for what you've found.

Against your better judgement you scrape up and collect the squirming remains of the beast. Someone in Undercity might have a use for them.

Do you have something for me, mage?

Through pain comes resolve.

How can I help you?

Welcome back to the light, friend. Do you require training?

Welcome to Bandarion Keep, mage.

Welcome to Bandarion Keep, mage.

Why do they call me "The Breaker"? Trust me, you don't want to know.

Oi, what do you want?

I am proud to welcome another newly risen paladin to our ranks. As you begin to reconnect with the light you may notice that certain abilities that were once second nature to you may cause you considerable pain to use now, particularly those involving channeling the light to heal yourself or others. The only way around this problem is--unfortunately--to go through it. Like any other muscle that has atrophied, you must push through the pain and exercise the flesh for it to return to full function.

They named it Bandarion Keep. I wonder what Garek would make of that?

Well done, mage. With these bones we may be able to better understand how such a threat was able to go unnoticed for so long.

Did you find the damned thing?

Engineering will provide you with the skills and knowledge to dismantle your opponents! Let me show you how...

You are ready for greater things! See Franklin Lloyd, to my right. He will guide you from now on.

<Deathguard Billmuth absentmindedly fidgets as he looks around nervously. He is clearly very uncomfortable being here.>

Yes, I am the renowned trader who magnanimously fed the uh, starving... children...? ...of the Undercity during the recent war with the Scourge. Yes, I am the visionary businessgob and logistical genius who single-handedly armed the resistance and allowed our Dark Lady to found her nation of smelly corpses... um, I mean, "Forsaken." Yep, I'm him. Glix Xizzix. I'd be happy to sign an autograph. For a small fee, of course. What am I doing here running a barbershop, you ask? Well I got one word for you, bub--diversification. You've got to keep your revenue streams diversified!

My oath binds me to this place. What brings you here, to this light-forsaken place?

The time has come, my sister in arms, to take back the night from the Scourge!

<Penned in faded ink, the note is requesting 1 Spider Silk Slippers, along with information about delivery location and payment. At the bottom appears text denoting this writ is transferable.>

Thank you for your aid, mage. If we do not wish to see Lordaeron's history repeat itself, we've got to be vigilant when threats like this spring up.

Stay low and try not to be seen, mage. These cultists are not to be trifled with.

I plan to stay here for a time and speak with more of my friends, but I will return to Light's Hope Chapel in Eastern Plaguelands soon enough. Should you ever find yourself out that way, please do say hello. We could always use more help from able-bodied adventurers.

Danitha and I fought against the scourge in the defense of the Undercity when Naxxramas attacked. We lost many good friends that day, including the hero after which this keep was named--Garek Bandarion. He might just have been the first Forsaken to rediscover how to wield the light as a paladin. I am encouraged to see his legacy and potential live on here with Danitha and her cohort. If only the rest of the forsaken felt the same way...

Yes, mage?

I'd advise you not come into too much physical contact with those crystals. Even shattered and spent, the lingering magic in these necrotic crystals is highly dangerous.
