QUEST
Camping 101: Cooking 96646 · completion · Zerril Softbreeze
With this, you'll be able to set up a camp anywhere out in the wilderness. What you've learned is just the basics, so you won't be able to place too many furnishings around it.
Raise your cooking skill and you might just be able to learn to make even bigger fires.
You can also learn the basics of furnishing your campsites from other tradeskill trainers if you're savvy in their skills.

Valennia Stormfist 252383 · gossip3
Valennia looks away briefly before looking hesitantly back in your direction.
The Shal'nan was the very best of us. It was he who stood up for our people against madness and oppression in Eldre'Thalas nearly ten thousand years ago. It was the Shal'nan who led us across the uncharted sea to escape the murderous vengeance of our ancient enemies.
It was the Shal'nan who brokered the pact of friendship with the wind spirits that allowed us to ascend to Skywall... and survive.
He was ever the servant leader to his people, even after he abdicated his position of power and retired.

Valennia Stormfist 252383 · gossip2
I suppose that is true. I and the rest of my elites used to belong to an order known as the Empyrean Blades. We were the personal guard of our former leader, the Shal'nan.
In the current, uncertain times we do what we can to help lead the peacekeepers citizen militia, since we are the closest thing to professional soldiers left on Zephras.

QUEST
Return to Rorian 92469 · completion · Rorian the Dayseeker
This is most troubling, but unfortunately unsurprising. We've been aware of the cult's movements for some time, but we've been content to watch from afar. Their agitation of the wind spirits near the standing stones is a clear escalation on their part.
You've performed a difficult but necessary service for Thendal Grove, adventurer. Thank you.

If you are initiated in the ways of the shaman, I can help you grasp them.

Harvesting Windstones 93552 · completion · Dalia the Collector
Thank you very much for these. As elves we all have a deep connection to magic and these windstones are becoming more and more precious as the magic imbued into this island by the great anchor pylons continues to fade.
Windstones aren't the only beneficial thing you can harvest from the land. Please, take one of these manuals.

These sneakthieves have likely been breaking into our supplies for months. I tried to convince Aonda to put a raid together to clear out that bandit cave for good, but she didn't want to pull the few peacekeepers we have away from the village.
With the cultists at Falaath Village to the south growing in numbers, I suppose I can't fault her for that.

The cult hit us by surprise. Raani never saw it coming and Arvensus took a sword to the gut. For my part, I took a lightning bolt to the chest and blacked out. They never bothered to finish me off... I guess they assumed my wounds would do me in. When its all said and done, I suspect they might.

BOOK
On The Windlord item_on_the_windlord · page3
"Whatever the truth may be, our benefactors clearly have no wish to speak of Al'Akir or his servants, and they are quick to dismiss all rumors of the Windlord's presence as idle fancy, unworthy of serious heed. They assure us that we need not trouble ourselves with such matters here, safe upon our Skyborne Isles. While this offers solemn comfort to many, it also raises a troubling question: what, precisely, are the wind spirits concealing from us?"

BOOK
On The Windlord item_on_the_windlord · page2
"Who is Al'Akir the Windlord? The priests of the radical Al'Aketh would have us believe him to be the true ruler of Skywall, the realm we now call home. In their telling, we are but interlopers here, and one day Al'Akir shall appear before us to reckon with our trespass into his dominion within the elemental plane.
Though such claims may at first seem the ravings of the misguided or the mad, there may yet be some measure of truth in them. When asked of Al'Akir's nature, the wind spirits grow evasive and agitated. Indeed, even the mere speaking of the so-called "Windlord's" name appears to cause them profound unease, perhaps even fear."

I might be the only living shen'dorei left amongst our people who had more than a handful of words with him.
I served him as the captain of his Empyrean Blades for nearly nine centuries, right up until... he left us.
Even still, I can't rightly claim that I "knew" him. He was ever a reserved and solitary man. He spent most of his time alone or in communion with the spirits in the spires high above the Shrine of the Four Winds... the place that the cult now calls the 'Shrine of Akir'.
